Corporate Matching Funds
Double your gift to Emmaus! Many employers match the donations that their employees give to charities. Contact your Human Resources office or the person responsible for corporate giving to learn if this option is available to you.
Memorial and Special Occasion Gifts
Donating to Emmaus is a meaningful way to honor a family member or friend, to memorialize a loved one who has passed away, or recognize a special occasion—and to help the men we serve in the process. We will send a card to the person being honored or to the family of the deceased; you can provide a personalized message to include in the card. The card will not disclose the amount of your gift.

Stocks and Appreciated Investments
Donating stock and other appreciated investments (such as bonds, real estate, or other personal property) is an excellent way to support Emmaus. Over time, these assets grow in value well beyond your original investment. Selling an asset may trigger substantial capital gains taxes, but when you donate such assets to Emmaus, we receive the full market value of your donation, you receive a deduction for the full value of the donated asset, and you don’t have to pay any capital gains tax. Estate and Planned Giving
Planned giving allows you to maximize your income tax deduction, reduce your estate tax burden, and provide income for those significant in your life. Planned gifts typically come from a donor’s assets rather than income, and can be either outright or deferred. Because each option offers specific tax advantages, please consult your personal financial and legal advisors.

In-Kind Donations and Current Ministry Needs
The men we serve often lack basic items that most of us take for granted, such as underwear, socks, winter hats, and toiletries. They often don’t have suits, dress shirts and shoes, or ties for job interviews or going to church. When they gain housing, they usually need furniture, cooking utensils, and linens. Through the generosity of our in-kind donors, we are able to meet their needs and support them as they work to transform their lives.
